Three M.phil scholars defend their thesis under Textile and Clothing department

Ms. Misbah Iqbal, M.Phil scholar, College of Home Economics, UoP, has successfully defended her M.Phil thesis/viva titled "Three dimensional printing (3DP) technology and it's application as an embellishment in textile and fashion design" under the supervision of Dr. Shabana Sajjad, Associate Professor and Head department of Textile and Clothing, CHE. Ms. Mariya Ayaz, M.Phil scholar, department of Textile and Clothing, College of Home Economics UoP, has successfully defended her M.Phil thesis/viva titled "Effects of oxidative and reductive bleaching and stripping of direct dye on the tensile strength of cotton fabric" under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Shahnaz Khattak, Principal, CHE. Ms. Bibi Hajira, M.Phil scholar, department of Textile and Clothing, College of Home Economics UoP, has successfully defended her M.Phil thesis/viva titled "To analyze the fastness properties of pigment printed cotton and cotton blended fabrics using screen printing technique". The research project has been supervised by Prof. Dr. Shahnaz Khattak, Principal, CHE and co supervised by Ms. Faryal Yousuf, lecturer in Textile and Clothing. Their examiner was Prof. Dr. Bakht Shahida Gillani, Principal Govt. Home Economics College, Nowshera. The research presentations were attended by senior faculty of the College, and large number of MS/M.Phil scholars and BS final semester students of Textile & Clothing. Congratulations to all the three scholars, their research supervisors and Textile and Clothing department of the College.
