PhD Defence Ms. Sidra Ali presented and defended her research titled "Investigating the Impact of Early Intervention on Parents of Children with Down Syndrome in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan” successfully. The research was conducted under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Syeda Kaniz Fatima Haider. It examined how early intervention programs play a vital role in supporting parents as they navigate the unique challenges of raising children with Down syndrome. Prof. Sajjad Ahmad, Dean , Faculty of Management and Information Sciences along with some other noteworthy guests attended the event while it was presided over by Prof. Shazia Shah, Principal, College of Home Economics. Prof. Dr. Najma Malik, Chairperson, Department of Psychology , University of Sargodha, served as the external examiner, while Dr. Summaya Ahmad, Department of Psychology , University of Peshawar served as the internal examiner. The research aims to enhance parental support systems and contribute to a deeper understanding of the needs of families affected by Down syndrome.
